Your daily check-in

Once a day, a quick tap tells your care team how you’re feeling. It takes about a minute — often just a single tap — and it’s one of the most helpful things you can do while you heal.

Your Daily Check-In lives right at the top of your home screen. You don’t need to fill out a form or press Save — the first tap does the work. Here’s how it goes.

FIRST

The only step that matters is the pain number. Everything after it is optional — add as much or as little as you like. There’s no wrong answer, and you only need to do this once a day.

Do your check-in
1

Open BoneArc. At the top you’ll see the Daily Check-In card with the prompt “Tap how much pain you feel today.”

2

Tap the number from 0 to 10 that fits — 0 means no pain, 10 means the most. The moment you tap, your check-in is saved. That’s the whole thing, if you want it to be.

3

Optional: a few more buttons appear. Tap Stiff, Okay, or Loose to say how your movement feels today. (For non-surgical care, these read Hard to move, Okay, Moving well.)

4

Optional: tap I did my exercises today if you completed them.

5

The card shows “Logged for today” and quietly closes. If you tapped too soon or want to change something, tap Make a change.

Why this helps your care team

Your surgeon or therapist can’t see how you’re doing every day in person. Your check-ins fill that gap: they show your pain and movement trends over time, so your provider can tell whether you’re on track or might need a nudge, a call, or an adjustment to your plan.

If your numbers move in a way that’s worth a closer look, BoneArc quietly flags it for your provider. Checking in consistently is how you help them help you — without an extra trip to the office.

Good to know

Want to add more detail?

There’s also a fuller Log Daily Progress screen with sliders for pain and flexibility, a swelling question, and a notes box (up to 500 characters) where you can write anything you’d like your provider to know.

“Consent needed to log”?

If you see this, it just means your consent isn’t on file yet. Open Settings to review it, then your check-in will save. See What am I agreeing to?

A minute a day is all it takes. The more days you check in, the clearer the picture your care team has of your recovery — and the better they can support you through it.
