Film yourself demonstrating an exercise once, and it plays for every patient — on every protocol, current and future — that includes it. No more generic stock-actor placeholder.
Every provider can now record and upload exercise clips — this isn’t limited to a pilot group. It takes one short recording per exercise, not per patient or per template.
Film on your phone before you upload — there’s no in-portal camera capture. A 15–30 second clip of you performing the movement the way you actually coach it is all you need.
Open Exercise Videos in the sidebar, under Library. Every exercise across your templates is listed, split into Filmed and To film.
Search by name, or browse To film for exercises that don’t have a clip yet.
Click Upload video on the exercise row and pick a video file from your device — under 100 MB.
The row shows Uploading… while it saves, then moves to Filmed once complete. It’s live for patients immediately — no extra publish step.
Changed your mind, or want a better take? An already-filmed exercise shows Replace instead — upload a new clip anytime.
Filming Heel Slides once covers every patient, on every current and future protocol, whose plan includes Heel Slides. You are not re-filming per patient or re-uploading per template.
What patients see updates automatically — there’s nothing for them to do, and no separate step to attach the clip to a protocol.
Uploaded a video but can’t see it play in the portal? Some web browsers can’t preview certain video formats inside the portal player, even though the upload succeeded and the clip plays fine for patients in the app. Check that the exercise now shows under Filmed — if it does, it saved correctly.
